My Story

Born and raised in the small town of Babylon Village, I’ve always been an “old soul.” My dad has been an antique collector for as long as I can remember, and when I was little, he would take me to antique shops and flea markets, where my love for antiquing first began. That sense of being an old soul comes from him; he has always been my greatest inspiration.

I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where I learned about the modern fashion industry. While living in the city, I still remember the first time I stepped into a vintage clothing store and at that moment, I knew I wanted to do something different. Rather than working in modern fashion, I immediately felt drawn to vintage.

In January 2020, during my junior year of college, I began curating my own collection, marking the start of my journey as an online vintage seller.

I began traveling throughout the United States to grow my inventory, which eventually led me to vend at vintage shows in both Manhattan and the Hamptons. Before I knew it, I was planning the opening of my very own vintage shop in my hometown of Babylon Village.

In April 2023, my dad and I began renovating the 100-year-old space and transforming it into something truly special. By removing modern walls that had been added over the years, he uncovered the original brick walls and wood plank ceiling, restoring the space’s authentic vintage character. We shared a vision, and he brought it to life.

Vintage clothing is an art form. By mixing and matching different styles, colors, patterns, and eras, people are able to express their individuality and creativity. When I encounter a luxurious 1930s Old Hollywood glamour gown or an Edwardian lace cotton voile dress, I’m always in awe. The construction, silhouettes, materials, and craftsmanship are simply impeccable. Vintage is more than just old or pre-worn; it is inspiring, captivating, and beautiful.

Learning about the origins of these garments and connecting with their pasts will always inspire me. Each piece carries a story and is ready to be passed on to someone new to begin its next chapter.

Opening my store has allowed me to connect with people who share similar passions and to learn from their stories and experiences. I am forever grateful for this opportunity, and I hope more people come to appreciate vintage and its true authenticity in the same way that I do.
